POAs were a breeze! Getting POAs drafted for and executed by an elderly relative can be stressful - especially when that person is home-bound. Colleen was prompt, thorough, and responsive to our concerns. Thank you for providing an in-home appointment to deliver, explain, and notarize the POAs. Wonderful Experience: Doug Burgess, Amy, and everyone at Burgess Law was great! needed new estate planning documents due to a divorce, and they made the process seamless. They are reasonably priced and efficient. I really like Mr. Burgess' style. He is thorough and knowledgeable, and explains everything well. His experience is evident, but he is not cocky about it - just seems like a nice guy at the same time as being very competent, and you don't always find that combination in lawyers or people in general. Anyway, it was a good experience and I would recommend hiring him for your estate planning needs. It is not a fun topic to think about, but it is much better to be prepared.
